LINDSAY OLANG

Junior Varsity Coach

Lindsay Olang is a 2007 graduate from Catasauqua High School. During her 4 years, she was a starting varsity defensive specialist and libero. She was also named captain in both her junior and senior years. In her senior year, Lindsay received Honorable Mention All District and Female Athlete of Fall Sports awards. Upon graduation from Catty, Lindsay got an athletic scholarship at Houghton University (formerly “College”), which is NCCAA/NAIA Division I. For four years, she played as a defensive specialist and libero. During her time at Houghton, she began coaching at camps and clinics in New York and Pennsylvania. In her senior season she was named Team Chaplain and lead the conference in aces per set. 


In 2011 Lindsay graduated with a degree in Inclusive Childhood Education and came home to coach at her alma mater. For two seasons, Lindsay coached Catty girls’ volleyball. After the second season, Lindsay married and moved to New York, where she then coached JV girls’ volleyball from 2013 to 2018 at John Jay High School-Cross River. During her time there, she assisted the varsity in getting their first sectional championship in decades. 


In 2019, Lindsay moved back to the Lehigh Valley and volunteered with Northampton Boys’ Volleyball and Velocity Boys’ Volleyball Club. For the last 3 years, Lindsay has coached alongside her sister, Jessica, at Crosscourt Volleyball Club at the 12 and under level. Her love for the game and for developing players has remained with her for over 25 years and she is excited to see what the next 25+ years will bring.


{Outside of volleyball, Lindsay is a wife and a mother to 2 girls. She is also the Children’s Ministry Director at First Baptist Church of Allentown}.
